Life Before Using EyeRelax: |

Joan developed myopia last year with L-1.00/R-1.75 dioptres.
She uses computer few hours a day without any visual break in
between unless there is a need to drink water and etc. They
believe it was partly due to poor visual habits that cause the
developing of myopia. They have tried the some eye goggles
devices with massage function, but they did not see much
improvement seen; and they put it aside when the battery inside
went dry. By early 2007, Joan has to change her glasses as her
myopia has increased to –3.00 dioptres. She was however
underprescribed with –2.75 dioptres.
Joan said: “Its very inconvenient wearing the spectacles. I
really wish that I could be off-spectacles or improve my
eyesight.”
After knowing some of the testimonials, Mrs Khng decides to use

Life Before Using EyeRelax: |

As both Mr & Mrs Yam are highly myopic, they are concerned
with their children’s myopic condition. Their daughter Jin Yeng,
was discovered to be myopic at kindergarten with about –1.25
dioptres, and her vision continues to worsen by about 100
degrees yearly. By Primary 4, her myopic condition was already
L-5.50/R-6.25 dioptres.
Jin Yeng loves to read, and use to read under inadequate
lighting condition. That causes her eyes to tire easily. Mr &
Mrs Yam believed that poor visual habits too have contributed to
the rapid deterioration of Jin Yeng’s eyesight.
Jing Yeng’s twin brothers Kenneth and Jonathan, too were found
to be myopic during their Primary 1 school’s eyecheck; Kenneth’s
vision was 6/12p and Johnathan vision was 6/36. In the following
year at 26 February 2007, Kenneth and Johnathan’s vision worsen
to 6/36(VA with spectacles is 6/9) and 6/60(VA with spectacles
6/9) respectively.
In June 07, during Singapore Eye Research Institute’s eyecheck
at the school, Jin Yeng’s myopia was found to worsen to –6.50
dioptres. But Mr & Mrs Yam decided not to change her spectacles’
prescription. Under her colleague’s recommendations (whose
children too seen efficacy after using EyeRelax), Mrs Yam
decided to use EyeRelax. Mr & Mrs Yam wanted very much to
takecare of their children’s vision. Jin Yeng is only 11 years
old; they can’t imagine what will happen to her eyesight when
she grows up. And they wanted Jonathan and Kenneth to start
controlling their myopia as early as possible.

In less than 3 months, Jin Yeng’s now sees Line 12 and
sometimes even Line 13 with her old pair of spectacles; which is
better than 6/6 vision! This was much improvement from Line 9
and 10 respectively. With her glasses on, Jin Yeng can see Line
4, from Line 1 previously.
Her brother Jonathan too had seen good improvements. Jonathan now
can see Line 11 (from Line 10 and 8 previously). Without his
glasses, he can now see Line 5(from Line 1 and 2 previously).
Kenneth too sees Line 12(L) & 11® now, from Line 10 and 9 with
his glasses on. Without his glasses, his left eye maintains its
vision at Line 5, but his right eye improved from Line 3 to Line
5. This means that all the 3 children have improved their myopic
conditions to those of 1 year back, and need not changed to a
pair of thicker glasses!
Mr Yam uses EyeRelax once daily. Although he belongs to the high
myopia category, he noticed improvement for himself too.
Initially, he can see Line 10 only but now he can see Line 12
and sometimes even Line 13 with his glasses.
He said: “I feel very relax, my eyes seem brighter and clearer.
Before, when I was driving, the signboard seems a bit blur, so I
have to strain my eyes to see the signboard clearly. But now I
do not have to do so, as after using EyeRelax, I can see clearly

Life Before Using EyeRelax: |

Rachael is 10+ years old this year. In March 2005, at the
age of 8, Rachael started to wear glasses of about L-2.00/R-1.75
dioptres each side. 6 months later in August 2006, during the
school eyecheck, Rachael’s vision has already worsen to 6/18
with spectacles. By August 2006, Rachael’s myopia has worsen to
L-3.75/R4.00 dioptres.
Rachael loves reading; especially adventure stories which words
are usually small. To make matters worse, she likes to read in
bed using solely the ceiling light, which is inadequate,
resulting in her eyes to tire easily. Her mother Mdm Lee
believes that that was the main cause of her myopia.
Mdm Lee is very well informed on eyecare and advises Rachael to
wear glasses only when she needed to. Hence initially, Rachael
seldom wore her spectacles except when she in the class and
needs to look at the whiteboard.
In March this year, noticing poorer vision, Rachael went to have
her eyes checked at Capitol Optics. Her power has worsened to
L-4.25/R-4.00 dioptres. However, Rachael did not change the
prescription to her glasses. The spectacle Rachael is currently
wearing was prescribed was about L-3.75/R4.00 dioptres.
Although Mdm Lee and her husband’s eyesight are quite good,
Rachael’s grandfather has high myopia of about –10.00 dioptres
but Rachael’s paternal grandmother has even higher myopia of
L-20.00/R-16.00 before her cataract surgery. Hence, Mdm Lee was
very concern for Rachael’s eyesight and she started to seek a
solution for her daughter’s eyesight. Having understood the

As Rachael’s spectacles was undercorrected, the first time she
